For weddings, a contract will be drawn up. All other bookings are regulated by a quote. By confirming the quote sent by Inaris in writing (email), your booking is considered confirmed and our terms and conditions accepted.

A deposit is due when you book. The invoice for your order will be sent by email after the photos are delivered and is payable within 30 days.

inaris reserves the right to determine the image composition, artistic and technical design, and the final selection of photos. There's no guaranteed minimum number of photos provided to the client. Clients acknowledge and respect the photographer's artistic freedom and individual style. Clients understand that all work will reflect this style. No complaints regarding this will be accepted.

The reportage price includes professional editing, but not extensive portrait retouching (like skin editing, etc.). If you'd like, this can be ordered separately and will be charged at CHF 120 per hour. The minimum duration is half an hour. Billing is done per started quarter-hour.

Any complaints must be reported to inaris within 5 days of delivery. After this period, the digital assets are considered accepted. Change requests received by inaris after these 5 days will be charged at an hourly rate of CHF 120. The minimum duration is half an hour. Billing is done per started quarter-hour.

inaris holds the copyrights to all video and photo recordings created by them, as per copyright law. As the copyright holder, inaris has the right to use selected visual material free of charge for promotional purposes, such as websites, business cards, price lists, flyers, brochures, competitions, advertisements, internet pages, social networks (Facebook, Instagram, etc.), sedcards, etc. inaris also has the right to reference collaborations with clients and the photographic work created for them in publications (internet, print media), exhibitions, advertising, discussions, and presentations with potential clients.

The client is entitled to use the created video and photo recordings for private purposes (Social Media, print, personal website, etc.) without time, location, or content restrictions. This right of use includes the right to reproduce and distribute for non-commercial purposes. The right of use is transferred to the client only upon full payment of all outstanding invoices.

Any commercial use of the video and photo recordings requires prior and explicit consent from inaris. The same applies to any editing, retouching, alteration, or modification of the video and photo recordings, including photo compositing, montages, or other manipulations.

You can only share the photos and videos with third parties (like other vendors or blogs) after both inaris and you have given written consent. When you publish any of our videos or photos, please always tag inaris (on Instagram, Facebook) or, if tagging isn't possible, mention our website (www.inarisphotofilm.com). If you share the pictures with anyone else, please make sure they know this too!

Unless we've specifically agreed otherwise, you won't receive any original files, negatives, or other raw footage.

It's really important for inaris to share videos and photos from our shoots, events, and weddings. It helps us show new clients the quality of our work! If you'd prefer us not to publish anything at all, there will be an extra charge. You absolutely need to let inaris know about any publication restrictions BEFORE you book us. Otherwise, we'll assume it's okay to share. Don't worry though, we'll never publish videos or photos of children and babies without your specific permission.

For any events, weddings, or other occasions, you (the client or wedding couple) are responsible for getting permission from everyone who appears in the photos or videos, or from their parents/guardians. You'll be solely responsible for this.

Please note, the deposit is non-refundable.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know by phone or email.

Rescheduling Your Date

If we need to reschedule your booked date because of the weather, that's totally fine. However, if inaris wasn't aware of the new date beforehand and can't make it, the deposit won't be refunded.

Cancellation Policy

Up to 2 months before your date: 60% of the package price.

Up to 1 month before your date: 80% of the package price.

From 2 weeks before your date: 100% of the booked package. You'll receive a voucher for 50% of the booking value.

Wedding Cancellation Policy

Up to 4 months before your wedding date: 60% of the package price.

Up to 3 months before your wedding date: 80% of the package price.

From 2 months before your wedding date: 100% of the booked package. You'll receive a voucher for 50% of the booking value.

If you need to cancel your event due to a serious illness or a death in the family (with proof), the amount of any compensation will be decided by inaris.

The number of photos you'll receive really depends on how long we're there and what moments we capture. We can't promise a minimum number of photos, and it's up to the photographer to choose the best ones for your story. On average, for a documentary-style shoot, you can expect around 30-50 usable photos per hour. But remember, this number can change based on things like the event schedule, how many guests there are, the venue, and so on.

We'll deliver your photos in high-resolution JPG format. For bookings under 3 hours, you'll get a download link. For bookings 3 hours or longer, and for all weddings, we'll provide an online gallery. Just so you know, unedited raw files (RAW) aren't included, but you can purchase them for an additional fee.

Once you've received your photos, you're solely responsible for making sure they're stored properly and kept safe. We highly recommend backing up your images on at least one other device!

Inaris will keep a backup of your delivered photos for up to 2 years after your booking. During this time, you can reorder data carriers or individual photos for an extra charge. Please note that long-term storage of your digital image files isn't part of our service. We promise to keep your final photos for 12 months, but after that, we can't guarantee their availability. Your online gallery will be accessible for 6 months.

The length of the videos you'll receive really depends on how long we're there and what moments we capture. It's up to the videographer to choose the best footage for your final film.

You'll receive your film within 1-3 months after your booking, in MOV/MP4 format and high resolution via a download link. Raw footage isn't included, but you can get it for an extra fee.

Once you've received your film, you're solely responsible for properly storing and securing the files. We recommend backing up your film on at least one other storage device.

We keep your delivered films for up to 2 years after your booking, and you can reorder them for a fee during this time. Please note that storing the videos isn't part of our service. The videographer promises to keep the final films for 12 months, after which we can't accept any claims.

If Inaris can't fulfill the booking or deliver the photos within the agreed timeframe due to unforeseen circumstances (like an accident, illness, death, lost/defective equipment, technical malfunction, etc.), you agree to waive any claims for damages or the transfer of potential additional costs to Inaris.

If we're unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances, Inaris will do our best to find a replacement, but we can't guarantee one.

Any deposit you've already paid will be refunded to you if we can't find a replacement.

For weddings booked from 2026 onwards, our prices already include travel, accommodation (if needed), and the return journey!

Until the end of 2025, for weddings, events, and shoots, 60km of travel are still included. Any additional kilometer will be charged at 90 Rappen in the final invoice.

All booking confirmations, quotes, and contracts made with Inaris are subject to Swiss law.

Any changes or additions to these terms and conditions must be made in writing.

Inaris reserves the right to change or add to these general terms and conditions at any time.

These terms and conditions are subject to Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is Inaris's place of residence.

These terms and conditions are valid from July 31, 2025.

In August 2025, Inaris changed the terms and conditions to include travel costs in the prices. This only applies to weddings from 2026 onwards where it's explicitly mentioned in the quote.
